Our Outcomes
When choosing a fertility provider, people often try to compare programs based on success rates. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) recognize that direct comparisons between clinics may not be possible without considering the patient population and the practice. Rates may vary, for example, due to differences in the screening process before an IVF cycle or the number of embryos transferred.
We do recognize, however, that individuals and couples would like the assurance that they are choosing a “successful” program. You may view our success rates at crh.ucsf.edu/our-success-rates. We also submit our statistics yearly to SART. You may view these statistics online.
Please keep in mind that individual outcomes depend on a variety of factors. Questions regarding success rates are best discussed with your reproductive endocrinologist.
